Welcome to our on-line registration. Here is a quick breakdown of our current open registrations.
We are happy to say that we received approval to run Fall Lax Skills this Fall!! The program will be offered for those in K- 9th grade. Below you will find all the details for the program, which starts next week. As safety is our top concern, we ask that you read this full email so we can make sure we comply with the proper guidelines. We have added a new position of a Safety Coach for each team with >10 participants to monitor these guidelines. We have also added a named COVID Coordinator for this Fall program to oversee our plan. More information is included below on the details of these new roles. On our SYL website you will find a new COVID section that contains the full back-to-play plan, which includes Parent and Player Checklists. The full back-to-play plan has been officially approved by the Sharon Board of Health and Recreation Departments.

Please note the 15 minutes of transition time between sessions to allow groups to clear the field before the next session arrives. We ask that only one parent spectator accompany players to the field complex. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, that parent will need to remain 6 feet distanced from the playing area and remain socially distant from other spectators. Following each session, the parking lot will need to be fully cleared to allow for the next session to arrive. For complete information on our COVID-19 protocols, visit our COVID section on sharonlacrosse.org.
Sessions will be 1-hour and are focused on skills in order to comply with state regulations.
Masks & Equipment
Masks are required for everyone. Players, coaches and parent spectators must wear masks for the duration of the session. Players must bring their own equipment as we can not loan any equipment during these sessions. Each player should get fully geared up in the parking lot and only bring their personal equipment and reusable water bottle clearly labeled with their name to the field (no bags allowed at the field).
Program Supervision & Coaches
In order to have town and Board of Health approval we have planned these levels of supervision to our fall program:
COVID Coordinator- Aisling Lydeard, Nurse Practitioner. Aisling has been a long time coach for SYL and will bring her skills in the medical field to help with overseeing the back to play Covid-19 guidelines and be part of the communication channel for any critical updates.
