Sharon Fall Clinics and U15 League Begin in September

Sharon Lacrosse will be running fall lacrosse again starting in September. There will be clinics for boys and girls from 1st grade and up, as well as a 6v6 league for 7th and 8th grade (U15) boys (registration form for U15 league) who have played lacrosse before. The clinics are for both new and experienced players and will focus on fundamental skills at the younger levels and both fundamentals and advanced skills at the older levels. The clinics, which are free of charge, will be on Sundays at East Elementary School, starting September 19 and running for 6 weeks (no clinic on Columbus Day weekend). Details...

SHS Girls Varsity: 2011 Captains Named

Congratulations to the new co-captains for the 2011 Sharon High School Girls Lacrosse Team: Leah Briscoe, Katie McLaughlin, Cindy Powell and Liz Wluka.

SHS Boys Varsity: 2010 Honors and Captains Named

Awards were handed out at the Sharon Eagles Boys Varsity Lacrosse wrap-up banquet at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton. Between the yummy barbeque from Firefly’s and a great video by 2010 co-captain Ben Noel, Coach Pat Kelley presented the Principal’s Award to senior Jake Ricciardi, Hardest Working Player Award to junior Lee Johnson and Team MVP to junior Josh Parness. Voted by their teammates, Parness and sophomore Jake Rotman were named co-captains for the 2011 Eagles. Congratulations to all!
